We Need Each Other - The Tour
was an incredible experience working with Mocha Club. They are a group
of people who put their whole hearts into bringing relief to Africa and
receive very little in return. They do such a great job of finding
practical, affordable ways for people to join in, we really cherish
being apart of what they're doing. On this past tour, with the great help of Sammy A, we raised money to build wells in the village of Jach Darfur, in the Sudan.  We had no idea what to expect and by the time the tour was over, we were overwhelmed and overjoyed with your generosity.  Enough money was
raised to build wells for 70,000 people!

Here's an excerpt from something new they're doing. Check it out and get excited because this stuff is really, truly impacting
people's lives and showing the face of love to people who need it most...

When I think of Africa, the following images immediately come to mind:
Starvation. AIDS. Child soldiers. Genocide. Sex slaves. Orphans. From
there, my thoughts naturally turn to how I can help, how I can make a
difference. “I am needed here,” I think. “They have so little, and I
have so much.” It’s true, there are great tragedies playing out in
Africa everyday. There is often a level of suffering here that is
unimaginable until you have seen it, and even then it is difficult to
believe. But what is even harder is reconciling the challenges that
many Africans face with the joy I see in the people. It’s a joy that
comes from somewhere I cannot fathom, not within the framework that has
been my life to this day. [read more]

We need to remember that Christ-mass is a Holy Day!

What better way to work through this season!

It is not about getting.

It is about GIVING!

God bless you all!

i need Africa is a true fact for me. I recently lived there for three months. I lived in a hut without running water and with lights that some times worked. What they were lacking in materials was replaced with love and joy. They were just happy to be alive. It didnt matter that they hadnt showered or even had holes in their clothes. Here life is based on what you dont have but there its about what you do have.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing it! =) I totally agree... I just spent time in Africa and had a chance to see this in person -- it really opens your eyes to get out of our consumer-centered culture and see that true joy does not come out of circumstances. We have it so "good" here in the U.S. that sometimes we forget how amazing God is and how He provides.
I praise the Lord for using the people of Africa to wake us up!!!

Wow.
I honestly could not agree with you more!!

I have been to Africa myself (more specifically Ethiopia- which is right by Sudan), and have seen the starvation and poverty and AAAALL the other needs the people there have.
And still I can't help but notice what impact THEY had on MY life, AND I WAS THE ONE SUPPOSED TO BE SERVING!!!

In serving, we realize how much God has already blessed us, and it is almost overwhelming to know that He has no intention of cutting us off from His infinate number of perfect blessings.

Granted the people of Africa are just people like you and me, but it is so amazing that God can speak through ANYONE-- even if they are across the world.

May the Father bless you continuously, and may you allow Him to teach you how to disperse those blessings according to His perfect Will!
