OK, Melodee...take a deep breath and just calm down.

What a collection of fucking idiots! Sorry, but these pathetic morons have really pissed me off!
How dare the so-called Nobel Foundation judges! First, they have the lack of frontal lobe activity to award Barak Obama the Peace Prize, forcing me, of all people, to agree with the dictator of a third-world rat-hole farce of a country. Then, in their oblivious stupidity they attempt to defend their clear lapse of both sanity and reason.
There is no doubt that Mr. Obama is indeed making some moves that might lead to less tension and therefore peace, but ask yourself this...
How do these EFFORTS, none of which have come to fruition, compare to the actual ACTIONS of people and groups like:
Theodore Roosevelt (1906)
The Red Cross (1917, 1944, and 1963)
Woodrow Wilson (1919)
Albert Schweitzer (1952)
Martin Luther King, Jr. (1964)
Henry Kissinger (1973)
Anwar al-Sadat and Menanchem Begin (1978)
Mother Teresa (1979)
Desmond Tutu (1984)
The 14th Dalai Lama (1989)
Mikhail Gorbachev (1990)
Need I go on?
All of these people and groups, as well as most of the Nobel Laureates from 1901 through the end of the 20th century actually DID something. Yes, there are a couple in the last decade or so who did nothing but talk. I refer you to 2001, 2005, and 2007 in particular.
Anyway...
Who knows what the future might hold. In a few years, maybe Mr. Obama will deserve the prize. Maybe not. If I knew the answer to that, I would be making a fortune in the stock market and wouldn't need to write for a living.
But the fact of the matter is that as of right now, here in late 2009, Mr. Obama has done nothing. Nada. Zip.
Faced with these facts, I urge the following two steps...
(1) Mr. Obama, decline the Nobel Peace Prize. Return the money and the medal. Do it now before you look like as big of an idiot as the Nobel jury and turn the United States into a farce.
(2) The leadership of the Nobel foundation must immediately sack the Peace Prize Jury. They clearly are either: Brain damaged; Stupid; or Bribed. No matter which, they are obviously loose cannons that are making a mockery of the entire Nobel Foundation.
The bottom line is that people all over the world, in free countries and in dictatorships, are looking at all of this and asking themselves the same question...
