After our gig in Bø last month, Petter Murud decided to leave Shraphead due to personal reasons, Petter felt like taking a different direction music wise. We can’t do anything but respect he..s decision.

Since we have a lot of stuff going on these days, we..re already awfully proud to announce that we have got a new lead guitarist! This dude’s name is Nils-Christer Stenmyren. Last weekend we played our first gig with him in Karlstad and he kicked ass! Nils has been a friend of the band for a long time now, so there was no doubt that the chemistry and mutual respect was right there from the start. He has already contributed a lot to the song writing and he proves every rehearsal that he is an ambitious and talented guitar player.

We’re really looking forward to countless new songs, gigs, beers and (hopefully) success!
