Hey folks. We haven't updated in a while because there hasn't been anything major to say, so let me catch you all up on what hasn't been happening.

We were planning on releasing an album of all covers (done Slashtones style) this Christmas but that had to be put on hold for now and will be released later next year. All tentative live shows we'd been offered over the summer and fall had to be pushed back to later this year and early next year due to massive schedule conflicts amongst the cast members, but we're used to that after all these years. We also had to push back our recordings for the "all Slashtones" CD for a while. Richie Scarlet's band The 5th Avenue Vampires were on tour with Alice Cooper, Felix Hanemann had some commitments with Zebra and Hindenberg, Arno Hecht has been doing some gigs with Ronnie Spector. Sam Moore and several others and Steve Budgie's been playing with about 38 other bands, give or take a few dozen or so.

But the good news is that The Slashtones are back on track and going back to the studio the week of October 19th to start recording. During the last few months while no one's schedules allowed for everyone in this band to be in the same room at the same time, I spent quite a bit of time with everyone individually, going over what we'll be keeping from all of the old unreleased stuff and bouncing around ideas for new songs and parodies ("Mash-Ups?", "Comic-Rock?", "TV-Rock?", heck even I don't know what to call the twisted tunes we do anymore....)

And finally for those of you reading this that have followed us from the old ECW Wrestling days, the current cast and crew (and a few guests) will be recording a few updated versions of some old songs from the "Bingo Hall Days" as well as some tunes I wrote back then between 1996 to 2000 but never recorded. It's going to be an interesting album (or three) to say the least.

That's all for now kids,
Regards,
Harry /.
