I wanted to extend my deepest thanks to anyone who had any part in its existence!  I received donations from fans I had met several times, or only briefly, old friends, and a few people from all over the world whom I had never met at all!  You all are amazing, and you rock my world!

Without going into too much gory details about the trial and other goings on, the man who stabbed me pled guilty and received probation.  Not the best of outcomes, but an outcome regardless.  The government has me on a victim’s compensation plan for most of my remaining bills, and he will have to pay restitution, so slowly the bills are being sorted out.

I can not begin to express how amazed I was at people’s
willingness to help me out in such difficult times, and a special thank you goes out to Tom Coyne, and Shawn Gorritz, who set this all up, and to Hellblinki and The Last Dance for spreading the word, Luke and Daniel for letting me live in their house for a while, and Matt, Luke and David for sitting in courts with me.  I love you all and I am doing much better.  I remain so deeply optimistic in humanity despite all this terrible chaos that erupted around me.  And that comes from the wonderful acts of kindness you all have done for me.
