How SERIOUS is sin in the sight of God? Watch this and you will clearly see . . .

God took on human flesh, walked among His creation, knew all of our temptations yet was without sin. He willingly died an unspeakably torturous death on the behalf of those who are the very ones who have sinned against Him, YOU and I!

Has your sin been dealt with? Your church attendance cannot pay the debt, if it could Christ would not have needed to come and die the horrible death He endured. You cannot earn it, if you could why would God Himself have to come as He did? Simply believing in God's existence doesn't grant you entrance to Heaven, the Bible says in James 2 "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that - and shudder." The demons will certainly not be in Heaven simply for acknowledging God's existence. The sins we have committed are extremely serious in God's sight, they are against Him, and they will be accounted for. We cannot pay for them, but God has provided a way!

You see, it is as if you were in court after having committed very serious crimes. You were being sentenced to life in prison or a million dollar fine, without a penny to your name. As you were about to be lead off to prison for the rest of your life, someone you didn't even know stepped forward and said "Here is the money, I sold all I have and I am paying their fine in full." Christ's blood was the only pure and spotless sacrifice capable of paying the debt of sin. Because of that lovingkindness you could be shown grace that you didn't deserve and set free!

What He requires of us is that we repent, turn from our sins once and for all, and place our entire trust in Him, just as we would trust in a parachute to save us as we leapt from a plane. When we do that we are born again as John 3:3 Jesus said "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." God will give you a new heart with new desires.

I pray that you will take the time to think on these things, examine yourself and make certain that you know your sins are dealt with. If you wait until after your last breath to deal with them you will spend eternity in anguish trying to pay for a debt beyond your capability of paying. God takes this very seriously, and He will have His day of judgment. If you turn to God now, repent and trust in Him you will be pardoned your sin and find everlasting life in Christ. That is the "Good News" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it is immeasurably glorious news indeed!
