We have received confirmation that an associate has been diagnosed with latent (non – infectious) pulmonary tuberculosis. While the Kansas City Department of Public Health Department confirms that this form of TB is NOT contagious, and it is unlikely that anyone in contact with this associate can become infected, we wish to alert you to this circumstance. The exposure was likely limited to the 9th floor.
Any associates who are concerned are advised to contact their physician. Another option is contacting the Kansas City Department of Public Health who will provide TB skin testing. There is a $20 fee. They are located at:
