The end of August and this September have seen alot of progress for Blue Like Water. We finished mastering and printing our EP, locked in an amazing and generous drummer, Luke Silas, and performed our first show with our new lineup and setlist -- which was made possible by the patience and talent of Winesburg bassist, Jeff Mahacha, who donated just the right amount of time and energy to fill in for belated Blue Like Water bassist/guitarist/composer, Garrett Phelps.

Much of our success is due to family, friends, and networks like Carfight; all of whom have shown beautiful amounts of support and just plain love. Thank you guys.

We're going to keep this momentum going and start developing some new songs and recording all those great tracks that didn't make it on the Je m'Appelle EP. There is alot of talk floating around about music videos, San Diego tours, math-rock infusions, Western-GrecoClassical concept albums, and collaberation efforts with certain Carfight bands.
