Normality, it is such a simple concept, yet one that has untold repercussions upon the members of humanity. I use the word humanity instead of society, because society is the cause of normality. It is the reaper of individuality, come to claim the personalities of those who have fallen into "normality", thus losing all rights to themselves, leaving only mindless drones in its wake.

The purpose of "normality" is control. Society establishes what is normal in order to control the minds of people around the world, impressing upon them the importance of anonymity and compliance. It erases all uniqueness of spirit, making people more malleable pawns in the governments game of chess.

Normalcy causes atrocities everyday. All those who remain unique and true to themselves are ostracised, some are beaten, and some are killed; those are the lucky ones. The majority of unique individuals live their lives as outcasts, consistently considered to be beneath the general populace. They are mentally and emotionally bruised and tortured for fun, something that is seen as acceptable by society.  Any kind of deviation from normalcy can cause this, even deformities that are completely out of the disabled's control.

Normalcy is nothing but a poison to the good of human nature, it blots out all the colors of creativity and individuality, freedom of spirit and of mind, replacing them with a stormy gray cloud of oppression.

Normalcy is nothing but shackles to people of society, placed their by unjust rulers seeking a way to control and mold their domain like clay on a spinning wheel.

Normalcy is an evil that, sadly, cannot be snuffed out. It is too heavily ingrained into our social code(another form of control), and is all that most people know. Also, who is going to believe that they are a mindless pawn acting according to the wishes of a greater power? Who will take the time to study society, to study the effects of normalcy, witness the atrocities committed against unique minds and accept them as unacceptable?

No one. No one who reads this blog will be changed by my words. No eyes will source of enlightenment. Why? Because society, and normalcy, also have good qualities, qualities to which the general populace has become addicted. The only possible result I can see of this blog, is that the one concerned person who may read my blog will question the state of my mental and emotionable stability. They are fine. Well, as fine as they can be.

To add to this blog, I have no reason to believe that anything will ever change. Some people will never understand that it isn't wrong to be an individual. Some people will never understand that conforming and "fitting in" aren't the answers, that one can only do this so often before they lose their personality and become another generic drone of society. That society and one's own views are not infallible.

Not only is it important to remain true to yourself, but you must also understand that you can make mistakes. Hypocrisy runs rampant in our society and is another product of normalcy. It is another evil that outweighs the good thing that the normalcy of society provides.

Their is no correct point of view, no correct way of living, or being. Their is not one standard that applies to all. Uniqueness is not a crime. Truly unique individuals are not flawless, do not misunderstand me, but being true to oneself is preferable to being a mindless slave. Not being obligated to do something by society, not being judged for being unique, being able to do something because you want to and not because you have to; these freedoms that some we will never enjoy. They are things that I will never enjoy. It drives me insane.
