We will be having our annual local Poetry Slam at the Strand Theater in Boston on November 12th. I am looking to match up spoken word artists with each of our 12 schools in the program. The commitment is minimal-- about 1 hour for about 4 sessions throughout the 8 week curriculum. The goal is to get each team prepared for their performance at the end of the season. Last year, CNN came to cover the event themed 'A Message to the President'. Please contact me if you are interested and would like to be involved.
