What happened to NYC's Rock Scene? Why is it only living and breathing in LA? The Rolling Stones played recently, why can't AUDIOSLAVE play here????

yes ladies and gentleman, i went to go see audioslave at Hollywood and vine yesterday nite.. and may i say it was chaos, debatury, diseray, a combustion of murder... I waited for at least 3hrs to get in, but it was worth the wait to be front row access... it was said there were more than 10k people covering the streets of L.A. (best city on earth), the band spoiled us with flashbacks from there previous bands they were in. My God when the first riff of Spoonman came out from Tom Morello's guitar it was instant karma for me... i knew every single line and lyric from legend band Soundgarden, everyone in the crowd chanting "spoonman come together with your head, save me" and so on and on... yes they did play some of there own (audioslave song's).. my observation came to a stand still when cops started clubing kids left and right just because they had an adrenaline rush... come on people its soundgarden and rage what do you expect, a hanson crowd. Just imagine a battle of anger and enjoyment in the middle of the street in the Heart of L.A.
then a moment of truthe came upon us, Chirs Cornell asked us to put or fist in the air, and we obeyed! all of a sudden music to my ears, it was a hypnotic trance, an eulogy to all these emo bands that think there rock stars... then that riff that fucking loud note sustain..... "killing in the name of" everyone in the crowd just went wild, i don't even think human's participated in the event. it was like a caged animal let loose in the mean streets of the city of angels, "Thank God"... I'm not saying it was better the played there old stuff, but sure it was a fresh breath of air... I've seen both bands live, Soundgarden and Rage, and they new when they started play those two lengendary songs they hit everone's nerve.... "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me" was a pleaser to everyone, over and over again we recited those fames words, the sweet melody of destruction, the self righteous chant of standing up for yourself against the man. That nite, full of self indulgence, i left my name, i left my fucking suit and tie on the ground and beat it sense less with rage, it was a nite and Day i tried to live.. Fuck you

Listened to the album on MySpace and bought it yesterday. Brilliant!!!!! I love these guys. Will be seeing them at Oxigen in July but got plane tickets to see them in London! Cant wait!

best fucken concert (free ) i been to and when they played RAGE!!!!!!!!!!! it was like b0mb exploded people went ape shit and swat and popo in riot gear it was insane bad ass best concert and i was them again at the roasted weenie haha
