critter envy
So I was at someone's house last week and happened to catch a bit of a Martha Stewart show that included two of her dogs. I knew the woman had some of those big furry dogs, but no idea she was also the owner of the only breed of dog I have ever even considered seeking out (I agree that the best dogs are mutts). I know
french Bulldogs are prone to all sorts of medical problems, make weird noises, do look rather funny and all that, but I adore them to a point that is absurd. It may be because they look like little totoros to me, but I think they are unexplainably adorable.

YES! You should get one as a friend for darling Frida, and then you'd have to make them a giant Totoro doggie tenty bed. Also, did you know that Toto from L. Frank Baum's books was a French Bull, only they changed him out for whatever exactly the breed is of Toto in the film because, apparently, the original, appropriate breed dog was very poorly behaved and they needed a dog who'd do what they needed of Toto.
