Current mood:Like I could take on the Empire all by myself.

Jera Sessica written by Shannon Smith, Michael Branscome and Scott Caudill.  Recorded by The Rage in 1994 on old fashioned cassette tape from the sound board. Featuring Shannon Smith guitar and vocals, Micahel Branscome drums and vocals and Scott Caudill bass and vocals.

This is random recording from when I was in The Rage.  It is an odd song.  The first half has a slightly funky Kings X vibe while the second half is southern rock.  We called it a heavy metal hoe down.  The lyrics were kind of on the spot but it is a fun song.  I wish we could have gotten this one down in the studio.  What I enjoy most about this sone is Michael "Trigger Mortis" Brasnscome's lightining fast hi-hat snare pattern at the end.  I think I was 20 when we recorded this.  Not bad for a buch of country boys.

Oh, and the title.  It was in tribute to Sarah Jessica Parker who was one of  my favorite David Letterman guest at the time.  Of course, the song has nothing to do with her.  It made perfect sense at the time.
