Ok everybody, for my first blog entry as a member of IIWII I am going to be very adamanant about how this weather SUCKS! I emailed God and told him I want a refund on my ‘Put up with the crappy weather I throw at you every winter’ tokens that we all cash in early in the spring for nice, hot weather.  Unfortunatly, God hasn’t gotten back to me yet which means he has forsaken us, thus we are destined to be at 60 degrees all summer.
            We would like to thank all of our fans that made it out to the show at the Elbo room on May 30th.  We know you all enjoyed it at the place was PACKED with IIWII fans, who eventually took over Young’s house.  That after part was SICK!  I will have to say that I don’t remember a damn thing, and that’s the way it should be.
            The next show is at 6 Flags in Gurnee, we play on the 21st, details pending.
 
          
            An update on the recording of Lime and Salt-  As many of you know, and for those who don’t that need to get with the program, IIWII has been recording our first single Lime and Salt over at Hinge studios with Master Mixing Guru Craig Bauer.  The process is going as smoothly as these things tend to go (not very) but this last Wednesday we punched up the rest of the main vocal tracks with Josh.  All that is left are some background vocals and then Craig is going to polish it all up. WOO!
            And just as a shout out, if anybody wants to launch a personal vendetta against the Chicago Towing industry, please get back to me….I’m going to punch one of those yellow bullies straight in the kisser.
