Ever so calmly, I await in stagnant silence.

Suffocating, my breath withheld from my body,

I close my eyes and my tears start to fall,

A light fills my eyes and my breath starts to quicken.
Afraid of what Ill see, not knowing what will happen.
A whisper so sweet fills my ears and I swallow.
Death has not yet taken my soul.
I open my eyes, your figure floods my vision.
Holding my hand and looking deep within my eyes,
Kissing my mouth, my chin, my neck,
Then finally stopping on my heart.

Death does not scare me, not at all, not when Im with you.
