Dear Reader,

I think I will take more advantage of the blogging feature on myspace. I do have a blog elsewhere you see but that is for my more earnest and profound thoughts - let me just say that it has been inactive for the past few months, but nonetheless it is full of earnestness and profundity.

Anyways, I think I will use this blog to let you know, dear reader, what is happening in the Wild Frontier. And by 'what is happening' I don't mean a public-self-referential-praise-session where I go on and on ad nauseam about ALL THE FANTASTIC things that are happening to us, that aren't really that great anyway. No, by 'what is happening' I mean the nitty and the gritty, the mundane but important things. The only things that you my love would care to read.

So firstly we had a band meeting the other night. Chris was his usually self-righteous indignant self telling everyone about his woes and how he, to quote, 'is the only one who does anything for this God forsaken band'. While David smugly smirked, Stephen played mother and Philippa as usual was absent from the meeting. I filled the awkward silences with note taking, which is my humble station in the band - secretary.

The basic outcomes of the meeting were:

a) Philippa needs to improve her communication skills i.e. respond to emails and text messages in a timely manner.

b) David has been promoted to music manager - which involves organising band practices and that everyone knows the chords - we are yet to have a practice since David was appointed to this role six weeks ago.

c) Chris is going to stop being such an unbearable prig.

d) Stephen is going to greet David with a hug and Philippa with a kiss as part of our new band bonding exercises - he has decided against either of the above options for Chris.

Anyway that is about enough juice from me for one entry.

From your friend and mine,

Gomez

Rob - No paradise needs a certain amount of pain and trouble so that we can recognise the good.

Padre - up your arse.
