NEW SONGS

We've finally started rehearsing brand new songs which we'll be recording later this year for our follow up disc to RADIO COUNTRY. We'll be debuting a few of the tunes at our upcoming Cadillac Lounge show on July 25th. Come on out and listen as we play IT'S NOT ME, IT'S YOU, MY NEW WIFE'S KIDS, LITTLE TREASURE, and IT'S NOT THE BABY, BABY for the first time live.

CANCER SOCIETY SHOWS

The Rizdales are again teaming up with a few really cool roots music acts for a couple of fundraising shows for the Canadian Cancer Society. Lasts years Roundup shows were such a huge success that we thought we'd do it again this year.
 
Rizdales’ singer/fiddler Tara Dunphy lost her father, George O’Connor, to cancer in August, 2007 and we wanted to do something special to honour the memory of her wonderful dad. 

‘The Rizdales’ 2nd Annual Roots Round Up’ will take place in London, Ontario on Saturday, August 8th at the Richmond Tavern and will then move to Toronto the following day at the Cadillac Lounge . See show dates for line-ups.
 
Both shows are ‘pay what you can’ events with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. We’d love to see you there 

WANDA JACKSON

The Queen of Rockabilly is coming back to Toronto and the Rizdales will once again provide the musical backing. This will be our first time playing with Wanda since she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Wanda and the Rizdales will be at the Cadillac Lounge on Saturday, Sept.5th for one night only. Tickets are available at the club and we imagine they will sell quickly.
