I've just got back from Alicante in Spain. I went there with my good friend Tom Harrison and some of his family and friends. On the last night Brody, Tom and I went out to a bar and got completely pissed. There's nothing wrong with that in itself but when the bar is on the edge of a cliff you do need to take a little bit more care. I had pointed out to my freinds earlier on that night that the plastic garden furniture type chairs didn't look so strong and the fact that they were on the edge of a cliff was even more worrying. Though it was only a small cliff of about 10 feet high it could still be the end of a pissed up English tourist. However, after a few drinks I no longer knew danger. I went to sit on a chair quite clumsily and it must have buckled or something because the next thing I knew I was stuck in a bush upside down halfway down the cliff. It seemed to happen quite quick and so took me a while to realise what had happened. Then I heard Brody in the bush next to me. He'd dived in to save me but unfortunately wasn't that much help. I still feel gratefull for his efforts and I'm sure in his mind what he was doing made complete sense. We eventually scrambled out of the bush and made our way back to the bar. I was very glad to see that the people we had met enjoyed the entertainment we provided and I couldn't help but see the funny side myself. I'm just glad I was drunk because I think it would have been quite painful otherwise. I woke up the next day on the couch covered in cuts, grazes, bruises and a throbbing head. This added to the two jellyfish stings, stubbed finger and barbed wire injuries that I had picked up over the course of the two weeks. I apologise for only writting blogs about injuries up to now but it would seem that recently that's what I'm best at. Congratulations if you read all of that.

Cheers

I'm not one to laugh at people's misfortune, but you just had me in stiches! All the best Dan, watch out though, as things usually come in threes!
