First: Yima website (www. yima. nl) will be online mid february, first in Dutch and from april on in English as well!
Jenni Alpert (USA) will be touring Holland at the end of may or early in june. Give me a call if you want to have her in your venue!****Shane Alexander (US) will be touring Holland from march 24th until april 1st and will be the special guest of the songwriters contest 'Nooduitgang' at the university city of Nijmegen. Also Shane will give a small surprise gig in the city of Amsterdam on saturday march 28th. To be announced!***Ian Britt (UK) (who had to cancel his German january tour due to ilness) will make an appearance on the new Dutch Television station Kink FM tv on february the 4th. Kink FM's new program ’Two Days’ followed Ian around last november while he was touring Holland and filmed two days of the live of the talented Britt. Kink FM Radio will also pay attention to Ian Britt in the evening radioshow between 19:00-21:00 on Kink FM Radio, february 4th.****The new CD of the belgian band Inneke 23 & the Lipstickpainters is going to be called ‘Chacoal’ and is going to be released on february 23rd in both Belgium and Holland as well as Germany. ***The Epstein (UK) will be touring Holland in april for the first time and is already getting some good response on their first cd which is going to be reviewed by the dutch cd magazine PLATO, just before the start of their Dutch April tour. And that is not all; we heard it trough the grapevine that they might be coming back in autumn to tour as a support of the Southern Tenant Folk Union****The Dutch/Belgian March tour of Vanessa Peters (US) is almost full and there for she is coming back in autumn! She's open for bookings***Solo Moderna (NL) is finally getting a go on UK ground: Tunes UK is going to distribute ‘Boogalookalikes’ (on vinyl) and the Boogalookalikes album is released once again ***Rue Royale (US) is shopping for a major label and finally the first appointments have been made. We expect to have the partly british partly American couple back on the European mainland either in may or September***Susanne Zeegers(NL) ***the Zwolse folkband Rosa Sky (NL) can be booked trough YIMA from now one as well!
