Current mood:about to have a fever

Ai'ight, since I've miss the Solar New Year, so here's my '08 reflection and '09 Lunar New Year Resolution:

Well, '08 was a bit of challenging.  Last year of college, board exams
and state certifications... bla bla bla, meaning pay hella lot of money
to the state just so I can take some exams so they could take their
sweet time for 4-6 weeks later to notify that I either passed or fail - and
if I passed, I gotta pay more so they will forward my info. to the next
guy so I can pay them more... gaarrrr....  But oh well, the good news
is I passed them all and now I am the official tax payer.  Sweeeeeeet..!

Traveled to VN was the big bonus.   Although there was some minor held
back, but I did get a chance to experience the country on my own.
Taking the public bus system and other types of transportation to go
around was cool.  Imagine the cramp of nearly 30 people plus their
luggage into a van where
we here in the U.S. only allow no more than 18 people.  The "aroma"
from body odor, food, cigarette and even da^'u do' and sometime kid
vomiting somewhere in the back rolls, create a mixture of something
indescriable.  Sat there in the bus, sitting on just one butt cheek for
several hours to get to Tay Ninh to visit my friend, despired my numb
leg and ass, I was damn glad
that I had my hepatitis shot several months prior to my departure.  Not
only that, bad road, fair weather, mad driving skill + everyone else
and their cattle who share the same road - I didn't get a heart attack
or wet my pant during my stayed (or maybe I did, but I didn't feel
it).  5 - 10 dollars a night hostel,
sharing my room w/ mice, mosquito, other insect and cockroaches, I've
become a stronger person (what can't kill you, only make you stronger
right?).  But overall, I enjoyed the trip very much, and wish to do it
again soon.  Next time, it'll be more intensive!

Photography wise, I don't know.  I think I need a new camera since I
need more power and flexibility.  But it's always fun to see how peeps
making fun of my gears and think that I'm a dumn shit, but after seeing
the result of my work, they keep their silence.  Yep, that's the great
feeling.  Imagine a guy w/ a 200 dollars, discontinue low end model,
yet I can hang w/ the Pros.  Now, that's the greatest feeling ever.

About work, work is work.  I finally can afford the extra slice of
cheese in my burger or the extra Bo.. Vie^n for my bowl of Pho and ice
tea instead of plain old ice water.  Yep, high class status right there
yo.

ok, I think that're all the major changes for '08.  As for '09 I will
learn to let go of a few things in life.  To most people I know,
letting go of something or someone is easy, but not in my case.  But
dammit, I will start this year.  LETTING GO ISN'T THE END OF THE WORLD,
it's a new beginning await for me and it will train me to be ready for
the unknow waiting ahead (again, what can't kill you will make you
stronger right?).  I must leap and run and jump and conquer the world,
for running in one place won't get me no where.

till next year
