"The Club 7 Jazz Band quartet is lead by 24-years-young Michael Almich, and includes pianist Easton Stuard, bass Dorian Crow, and drums Kyle Owen. Michael got his start at 12 years old playing with the Oregon Lab Band and has been following his bliss by advancing his musical abilities in college and playing opportunities in Oregon. This band is a delight to watch and listen to and should be given the opportunity to "strut their stuff" along the Festival Trail. They've been invited to return to the OCCJF in 2009. Later this year they are scheduled to play at Medford, OR Oct. 10 - 12, and Ocean Shores, WA Nov. 7 - 9."
- Don Jones, Publisher of the American Rag (8/16/08)

"It is nice to see musicians that started out as youth players in the youth jazz programs now working professionally! Club 7 understands the importance of a great jazz program and also understands the concept of being both musical and entertaining! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Club 7 for any jazz festival!"
- Bob Draga, Titan Hot 7, Clarinetist (10/26/2005)

"So I ran into Grant Johnson's brother in law, and he said the family agrees that this was the BEST Concert they have had in all 41 years! People were raving about the music selection and of course, your clarinet skills. I was so excited how it all turned out...especially "Memories of You". WOW."
-Danielle Miller, Director of Bands, Lebanon High School (6/5/08)

"Club 7 has been a regular at the Medford Jazz Jubilee since 2004 and will appear again in October of 2008. They get a great sound out of a small group and are a versatile crowd pleaser. Michael and the group's repertoire may include more, but I can personally vouch for their excellence with hot jazz and inspirational standards as well as the more modern cool jazz reminiscent of Brubeck and others. Club 7 would be a credit to any festival, party or event."
- Jim DeMont, Vice President, Medford Jazz Jubilee (12/3/07)

"The musicians are from Eugene, OR and Portland, OR. I just danced to them LIVE last Wednesday in Eugene for the 5th Anniversary of http://www.EugeneLindy.com. The clarinet player is tremendous. I hope to book them at my ballroom in Portland soon."
- Larry Peacock (4/12/08)

"Wow, here's another band of musicians in their 20s that are tearing up the pea patch. They swing their asses off and speak with their own voice, bringing something new to the party. Glad to see that Ocean Shores, Medford and Orange County OKOM Jazz Festivals have booked them."
- Steve Barbone (4/12/08)

"Hello folks, Have you ever heard of that band? Wow!
So do yourselves a favour and go to hear it when you have a chance.
And pending that, try it on Myspace. you won't be disappointed, and these people are hope - they're young and they are the future of our music.
