Hope you are all enjoying 2009 so far!

Just to let you all know that plans for Infest 2009 are under way and the date is provisionally set for the August Bank holiday as usual (Friday 28th - Sunday 30th August 2009).

However, we just want to keep you up-to-date with some news affecting Infest 2009...

We have been informed that the Student Union venue, which we have used for the last 11 years, is closing for 12 months for major refurbishment! This means that Infest 2009 will definitely not take place in the usual venue. The Student Union, including the main event rooms and upstairs Courtyard bar, will be completely closed for the duration of the refurbishment.

We are currently working with the University and the Student Union to secure another venue on the Bradford university campus and this now looks likely to go ahead.

Apologies for the delay in getting this year's Infest announced but we have to make sure everything is finalised with the alternative venue before we can start selling tickets and accommodation. More news on that soon!

As always we are working on bringing you a very cool line up and look forward to seeing you all in August in Bradford at Infest 2009!
