Those of you who’ve been in the drum & bass game for a little while will no doubt remember the ‘Planet V’ compilation, one of V Records’ seminal works, spanning an immense 8 vinyl box set featuring some of the heaviest tunes of its day.

Roni Size’s ‘Windrush’ originally dropped as part of that album, and now, a decade later, it gets a new lease of life thanks to Heist.

Staying true to the original and simply beefing up the beats and bass, this is late ‘90s D&B for the modern DJ. Stepping drums and a powerful sub are what keep this one rolling along, damaging dancefloors all the way while it does.

Backing it up is the Mosquito remix of ‘All That Jazz’, DJ Fresh & Darrison’s rave killing monster. On this mix it’s given a lick of aural paint with a huge synth line and a few tweaks to the arrangement.
