This week wrapped up week one of recording our first full album, still untitled.  So far, so good.

Session one consisted of recording scratch tracks, which are basically rough versions of the guitars, so the drums could follow something aside from a metronome.  All eight songs were completed, and even for just one guitar, it sounds really good.

The second session seemed a bit more difficult, but also more productive.  Sam came in and recorded four of the eight songs, being "To and Far Beyond", "Broken", "A Night Spent In Jealousy", and "Wake Up."  The drums, even before mixing, sound amazing.

Since Sam is heading on a vacation, as is Fred, recording will be taking a short hiatus until late next week, in which we will be starting guitars, bass, and vocals for the four songs that have drums.  Sam will continue with the other four songs into the weekend.

Hopefully the album will be done by mid-to-late July.
