So the rumors are true. I am closing the cafe down. I made this decision for my family. Witht he economy the way that it is I would just like to provide a more stable financial situation for them. It was a beautiful dream and anywhere else the idea would have been a success. They say if you can make a business work here you can make it work anywhere. I made it 1 year and I have learned so much from the experience. There are unevolved, ignorant people out there waiting for me to fail and expected me to quit and all I can so to those people is what are you doing with your life and is it so stagnant and uneventfull that you have to negativelly obsess over my life decisions? These people know who they are! I say live life to the fullest and never look back or regret anything! Everything happens for a reason and paves the way for the next experience. Thank you to all of you who supported me and  one fingered wave to those who did not...

Oh what a bummer! I understand completely though, priorities and all that. I'm so glad that you're focusing on the positive aspects of the experience instead of fully on the loss. That's hard to do!

It is October as well, a good time for letting go of things for the higher good.

Anju and I love you! We should try and plan some kind of visit sometime soon! I was so jealous to miss out on the last round of sushi!

well babe, i am just happy to say that i got to spend some time at the cafe with you and the girls. eventhough it was brief i really enjoyed it! i'm so proud of you. you're strength and determination were not unnoticed! if you put that much of yourself into all that you do you will always be a success! i love you for trying, it's too bad that great falls is so adverse to change. xoxo

I think it takes a really strong and mature person to objectively make the decision you have made. Even though you are closing up the cafe' you haven't given up and weare all very proud of you.

Amber, I will miss the cafe so much, but I know you made the best decision you could and I hope you remember how many of us enjoyed it while it was open. You did a great job and it will be missed, but you had to do this for yourself and it is the right decision. Movin on to the next adventure............. I am excited for you ! Who knows what's next, the opportunities are endless :) I love you girl !

I do understand doing what you need to for family, however I just love your food and as often as I could get downtown I did for lunch. When are you closing so I can get one last vegan burger with yam fries?

Those of us that know you and the cafe. Understand your reasons and support your decision. I will miss the cafe with what it provided and represented. Alone with knowing when ever I was in town and needed to see my friend. I knew just where to find you. I look forward to seeing the next great thing AMBER CARSON is the owner of.

I just noticed this. I'm sorry you had to do this, but don't ever discount the fact that you did it in the first place! It took a lot of guts and hard work. The economy is scary and is totally fucking up so many people's lives. No matter what you will always shine:)
