So with most musicians that have a cd coming out you'd expect them to be telling you that "This ALBUM is going to be the greatest album of all time, that will heal cancer, erase the scratches off your car" Kinda thing.

And I'm honestly not going to tell you this album will do that....hahaha if only it would restore my car to a full brand new shiny one (I have a holden berlina 1988) her name is devon and she rocks.

The feel on this album is like non other that I have done. It shows my sensabilities in a simple format, If i didnt hold on to simple I would have something completely different.

Its an outward outlet of sensabilities. This is not just an inward idea for my escape, but i know in my being and soul that this is something people need to hear.
"Why do they need to hear this Matt"

Its a good question. Because Arn't there many musicians trying to make great music? Of course, I'm just one of them, but in my experiance the music thats made any inroads have been from an honest heart, from its roots, a place that they are in everyday.

So in a way, this album will be what you want it to be. To me, I've experianced freedom from doing this, even in the process of doing it the feel and warmth from the songs send me to the place of what it was written about.

 *I take myself out of the picture and look at the music and it points somewhere better than me, its uplifting, bright, and deep.

Theme?
I feel the CD is about uplifting and confronting life's attributes. Time, Honesty, Control are things that have been on my mind that I feel are themes that are never written about. Depressed people dont need depressing music, but thats what it looks like today, people use music as an excuse for what their feeling, or use it to fuel their anger. Everyone avoids confrontation, but everyone needs confrontation. Music is an outlet that allows you to go where you're not usually comfortable to go. Its so personal, Thats why i love what i do.

So I am excited about it and i'm more excited for you to hear it. Acoustic, Pop, Rock, Roots, Blues are my bag of clothes i wear.
