Evolution???

Revolution???

First let me say this is not a religion vs. evolution discussion. It’s a pure evolution discussion and cheap shots at God will not be considered intelligent answers. However many Christians will find what I say to fit their beliefs.

Chicken or the egg? Let’s start with mainstream evolution first…Big Bang…water…things crawled from water…to current man. Whatever version of that you want. Any system that has evolved for millions of years does not suddenly stop. Humans are not the “end product” of evolution. Evolution is a constant system. To say we are the end of the game or that man is close to the end product of evolution is both arrogant and not based in science. A continuous system must continue. Millions of years will continue for millions more. So with all these years of data leading up to today why has no one been able to tell me where we are evolving too? Why has the mathematics of the universe stayed constant? Shouldn’t they too evolve? That is the burden of the pure evolutionist… because it can’t be explained by evidence or science.

When I was a kid I got in trouble in science class for saying the universe was round. My teacher’s belief that it is “infinite” was not based in science but in a general theory that things were just bigger then we could imagine. My statement was based on factual models. I mean the earth, sun, and molecules where round…where could she have gotten “infinite” from? But I didn’t let one adult’s beliefs make me lose hope in science. But I see the same problems and solutions with evolution.

Just as famed math professor Cantor showed us there is not one infinity in math but multiple ones…I too must say there is not one evolutionary cycle but multiple ones. (Somewhere in a college classroom a chalk board is being thrown against the wall. How dare a kid from Arkansas challenge the system!)

(Cantor would have been a fan of the Infinity Pool…but he would have had multiple pools)

Systems evolve then de-evolve (for lack of a better word). Just as a sperm becomes man then man goes back to dust. Just as a black hole gains power then disintegrates…the world has shown us endless evolutionary cycles. While the master system stays constant micro systems inside it evolve and de-evolve constantly. Just as within the master system of mathematics there are multiple infinities. Nothing new physically is being created. Existence is being cycled over and over again.

The human being stands in its own systems (earth and the universe to name a few). It will cycle over and over again. Elements can be added to the system to change the look of the output but they do not change the system. So as our environment changes so does the size and shape of the human body but the system itself remains constant. We cycle and cycle and cycle.

Constant Gardener Pictures, Images and Photos

(Even the gardener isn’t constant)

The universe is made up of endless cycles within cycles. Our environment is one more cycle in our system. Our bodies are in themselves micro systems. Nothing new comes about but creation is part of the cycle. A baby grows in its mother womb using the nutrients of the mother. A baby is not a new product but created from a current system (aka the mother). I challenge the Yakov Zeldovich and Alexander Starobinsky theory that anything new is created from a black hole. If what I say is truth then we will see cycles within the black hole itself.

(Those Russians were right about one thing!)

So which came first the chicken of the egg? They both had to be here in order for it to be a system within a system. Oh the cycle of life…did I just say “cycle”. Hmmm.

The universe is still round,

I think you a trolling. :P

This may be the only time I say this. You caught me at a philosophical moment. It is something I have given much thought over the years because I believe science has great value.

1. There is truth in the saying "The chicken came fist because in the beginning God created all living things."

2. That being said lets discuss the concept and its history of evolution. Many people were already thinking about these things at the same time. This was before the great fossil explosion in science in the 1930s. Darwin is most famous for collecting the idea and putting it out there. I have studied theories over the years. The idea of theory is that you hope to disprove it someday. Some theories, like in mathematics, last for a couple decades and then they are proven or disproven. Very rarely does a theory just keep hanging on unless you lack the knowledge to prove it or someone’s personal agenda wants it to stay in your face regardless of how preposterous it is. Darwin’s theory? You decide.

3. I don’t find much value in the argument that if man came from apes why is there still apes. I think the answer is there but the statement needs better definition.  In all these years there has never been a set of missing links found in the fossil record. Maybe a couple anomalies but one positive test does not make the whole research.  You can’t hang your whole life on one yes from a million nos.

4. So what the heck is going on here? I think that the genetics have already explained it. In your DNA you are only using 90% of what’s there right now. So what’s all the other junk for? What if generations later would benefit from being taller, fatter, smaller noses? It would be nice if you had the ability to make your later generations that way. Oh wait! We do! It’s all there in our DNA.

5.  Ok here it is. Brace yourself. The truth of Darwin’s theory is survival of the fittest. The fallacy of Darwin’s theory is this. “The belief that given enough time, enough modifications would eventually lead to that being turning into a completely different being with different DNA.” This is what the fossil records have proven. Species will adapt to their surrounding whilst maintaining the integrity of their DNA but a species will not just turn from ameba into flys someday.

The question is not “Is there a God?” In my mind it seems obvious that there is a creator of some kind and we are not here by accident. Of that only the most uneducated would argue against. Maybe even mud people would argue it if you believe in such a thing and if so then for them they may be right. The question is “Did God have a choice in creating the universe, in ruling it?” I inhale oxygen and when I exhale there is CO2. There is no choice in the matter. The CO2 exists as an extension of my existence. I have some control over it. I could alter my breathing so it comes out differently or distorted or more CO2 or less due to my physical activity but so long as I exist the CO2 will exist I assure you. Is our existence much like that relationship to God? We exist as an extension of Gods existence?

Intriguing questions.

Well thought out. Liked your DNA evidence. Makes logical sense to me. What is that extra DNA for? Hmmm.... can wait for science to find that out. More proof we live in exciting times!

I have been putting much thought to the God as part of the system idea. What is the key is the "Jesus dying and going to heaven" created a new cycle in the evolutionary model. He must "come again" or it wouldn't be a cycle. Before Jesus that cycle didn't seem to exist. So Jesus is a big part of the equation. Otherwise you could say God is just a system without choice in it.

I appreciate all the thoughts. There is no such thing as a bad question.
