IT IS SO GOOD

we were going to debut Freak on Repeat at Bottom of the Hill, but now i'm torn :) 

in the world of other new music, i got the new Meshell Ndegeocello album, it's called "Devil's Halo". I listened to it today when i went running (ahem, the lazybonesack returns to the pavement) i actually heard all 12 tracks... 

of course it's beautiful, but right now i think i'm still partial to her previous release, "The World Has Made Me the Man of my Dreams" which is just a fantastic record. 

She's in town - Friday in Oakland at Town Hall, a venue that has no website, and Saturday at The Independent in SF. I will try to make one of these

saw Mos Def at the Indy last night - sold out crowd in less than 36 hrs - i reviewed it for the Owl Mag so keep an eye out for that tomorrow... 

FINALLY
