Blues No. 49 is my new tune. Named as a James Gang reference and to the fact that I record a lot of damn blues!

You may notice I am attempting vocals on this one. I recorded it as a blues instrumental and later took to the idea of improvising some lyrics over it. Spontaneity! Creating something in the moment and hanging it on to something prepared. Ahem.

Hope the singing doesn't offend too many ears. I usually only do it alone. Singing that is. Could be the start of a new direction.

For all you tech heads out there the wah slide was all done with volume and tone controls. I fancied having a go at that style and am quite pleased with the result. Whenever I pick up a slide I just want to be Muddy. Now you know that you can sleep at nights.
