Brief updates galore! If you haven't already heard, we're playing with Skid Row & Slaughter on June 15th. I don't know how you wouldn't know if you've even remotely read our page, but for the extremely beligerant and unobservant, that's your warning. We're all pretty excited about it, since the Quiet Riot show went so well. We are looking to debut at least one of our new songs at this show, and maybe a different cover than the two we've been playing semi-regularly at the shows. We promise it will be worth the early trip to Starland Ballroom that Friday night.
In other news, Cicchi has returned (for good?) back from the far off land of Albright University, now with a college degree. Tucker is also now a college grad, while the rest of us are hoping for that managerial position to open up at Burger King. Kaan was a huge help at our shows at the Saint, Centro, & the Cup in the last few months. He passed with flying colors. Thanks again to Kaan, and check him out at upcoming shows with the
Zombie Mafia as well as with
Endless Lament on August 11th, opening for Symphony X!
So, since Cicchi's back we've been mainly focusing on songwriting in the past few days, and are just recently getting ready to get our recording sessions back on. A few drum tracks have been recorded, but we're still deliberating on a live recording or a redub for everythign seperately. We'll keep you posted.
Between practice, writing, recording, promotion, and sleeping, there isn't much time for anything else right now. We're going to try to see what upcoming shows are available at Starland, although we might already have a way into the W.A.S.P. show in August. However, nothing is confirmed. We will mostly be focusing on writing and recording this summer, but this time we really mean it. :D
Invites to the show will be sent out soon, so please RSVP, and get your tickets from us direct. Our PayPal will also be sent out soon in case you need to pay for them online. It's all about convenience, baby. In the meantime, enjoy the brutally hot weather this Memorial Day weekend, and have a few brews for us. Be safe, and we'll be talking to you all pretty soon.
