Current mood:  accomplished
Howdy Folks,

We just wanted to let y'all know that last Saturday, between our two performances at Mayhem on the Mountain Fest,  Dave and Teel hurried on down to the Vandailia Festival  so Dave could compete in the 2008 West Virginia State Bluegrass Banjo and Mandolin competitions. Dave took first place in the WV Bluegrass banjo competition! Big surprise huh? haha... To top that all off..  He ALSO took second in the Mandolin competition!!

All of us in the band would like to be the first to say congradulations to Dave. We're all so proud of you. We all know how much time that you put into it and how hard you work and how long you've wanted to do this. There was never any doubt in our minds that you were the best dern banjer picker around and we sure are honored and blessed to have you with us. Keep it up champ!

Well thats all the news for now.. We hope to see y'all out there on the road.

i am proud to say that i was there the first time dave laid his hands on a banjo....and he never looked back. remember Boe's Strings? congrats Dave. i am not surprised in any way.
