Tour Spotlight
Band of the Week: Reggie & the Full EffectJames Dewees is a man of many talents. You may know him as the touring guitarist for My Chemical Romance and New Found Glory, or you may even know him for his own band - Reggie and the Full Effect. This is James' solo project, meaning he does all of the recording himself. He does, however, have a touring band with an ever-changing line-up. He has released five albums as Reggie, the first being released in 1998. Reggie and the Full Effect is often described as punk, pop punk or pop. Currently, you can catch Reggie & the Full Effect on tour with Leathermouth, Warship, and MC Chris on what is Reggie's supposed last tour.

Lost in the Sound of Separation - Underoath (Solid State/Tooth & Nail)
[Released September 2nd, 2008]
Out today is the latest album from Underoath, titled
Lost in the Sound of Separation. Following up the metalcore band's 2006 album,
Define the Great Line, this album reaches for new highs and succeeds. This time around is much heavier, while still maintaining the melodic undertones they are known for.
From the melodically bridged "We Are the Involuntary" to heavier "Breathing in a New Mentality", there's something for everyone to love. As hard as it is to believe,
Lost in the Sound of Separation transcends everything else the band has ever created. Just right drums matched with amazing guitar riffs put together with vocalists Spencer Chamberlain and Aaron Gillespie working together in perfect harmony has created an amazing record.
After hearing this album, I have fallen in love all over again with this band and their music. I would strongly recommend picking up this amazing record. It appeases old fans while still having significant appeal to those new to the band or even genre. It does not fail to impress and is more than worth the buy.
