Friends, Foes, Fuckers

Thank you all who have supported the Fuck Monkeys during our first run. The shows ranged from interesting to unruly, and then all the way to violent. The latter I mentioned is the reason we are no longer appearing at Pianos. For those of you who were not present for the last show we did there, let me tell you, things went awry. Pianos double booked the venue for that night, and my show which I thought was from 9-11, all of a sudden became 9-10. This information was given to me at 10:05. To say the least, I was both surprised and pissed off. Ofcourse the venue blamed me for this. Not sure how they did that. I think they thought somehow I was supposed to tap into the grand schene with all the knowledge of the universe and Pianos schedule, and gather this info for myself. Sadly my psychic powers went away along with my ablility to give birth and shit a rainbow back in the year 2000.

Anyway, I went on stage, and offered to turn over the show to the band that was booked in our slot on one condition: they come up on stage and take the reins. I wasn't about to just let the wheel go and allow the show to crash into the mountain. I wanted a safe and ceremonious transition. Sadly, the band were a bunch of cowards and decided to take the path of most resistance. They did not take the stage so I continued my show as planned and scheduled. This did not please the venue or the band. Especially since my new material now conisisted of some rather choice words for them.

Long story somewhat short; I eventually got into a fight with who I think was one of the band members, and was punched in the face. It was what I call a "bitch punch" however the bastard must've had some sort of ring on cause there was a gash left under my eye which bled quite a bit. I enjoyed this being I was on my way to a Halloween party anyway, and it saved me time in make up. Anyway, being I made a lil' scene and got into a fight, Pianos banned my ass. Fuck Monkeys first banning!

In honor of this banning, the Fuck Monkeys are going to be performing at a brand new venue in Brooklyn called MAGNETIC FIELDS on FRIDAY JANUARY 26TH at 9pm. It will be all the previous shows were and more (whatever that was).
