The new Idea of Beauty EP, Fire It Up, is at the pressing plant now, and we will have copies in time for their run of shows on the He is Legend cd release mini-tour. The artwork on this bad boy looks incredible, it was all handled by our homeboy John Felix out in San Francisco. We'll be posting the artwork soon and ordering information. You will be able to buy FIRE IT UP online through Interpunk, Smartpunk, and Very within a few weeks. Idea of Beauty are also booking some shows that will occur after the last HIL release show in Dayton. Shows and bands will be announced soon! He is Legend's new full-length, Suck Out the Poison, drops October 3rd through Solid State, and Classic Case just went into the studio out in California with PAGE HAMILTON (!!!) to record their new full-length for Fearless Records. We wish our boys all the best, we love the fucking shit out of them.
We're so stoked that we're doing the This is Hell & Cancer Bats split. Cancer Bats are heading into a studio in Calgary on their Canadian tour with Alexisonfire and Every Time I Die to record a new song and a cover of This is Hell's "Wreck Your Life." This is Hell are holing up in Atomic Recording Co. in Brooklyn later this month with Dean Baltulonis to record a new song and a cover of Cancer Bats' "Shillelagh." This split is going to be huge. We can't wait to have it out for you. There will be SUPER limited colored vinyl available, so be on the lookout for pre-ordering information in the coming weeks! Artwork will be handled by the unbelievably talented Alex Snelgrove. You know her from her work desinging the artwork for the Cancer Bats' Birthing the Giant. Shit's going to look delicious!
Boxbomb is going in the studio for three weeks this Fall to record a new full-length with Mitch & Al at Warrior Sound in Chapel Hill. Their new tunes are smokin', we can't wait to have them out for you.
Weedeater are remastering their record this month, and if all goes to plan, will have superlimited copies of Sixteen Tons and ...And Justice for Y'All in time for their tour in late November/early December.
