To my Family and Friends,

I have been asked to travel with Mothers Fighting For Others to Kenya as a photographer for a new project called "Inspire the Child".  We would be gone April 15-26. Documenting the purchase of land and photos of the girls who inspired us. Learning about their past and hoping to brighten their future. A true documentary of how MFFO started and what the goals are for the future.

In order for me to go and volunteer my photographic services.... I need your help to cover the travel expenses.

I know times are tight for everyone, but if you can help a lot or a little, any thing is appreciated. It is a Tax Deductible donation. Any money collected over the needed travel expenses will be put in the education fund used to send the girls from St. Monica Children Home to high school in the interim of the new orphanage being built. MFFO will be raising funds also to get the project off the ground.

 "Inspire the Child"  Breaking The Cycle Of Poverty By Educating Young Women

Our dream is to create a home for orphaned girls filled with love that will give them a new family. Inspire The Child will also construct a new educational facility for K-8th grade girls. This facility will prepare the girls for a brighter future and support their re-introduction to society. The school will provide counseling and medical attention, and teach them the skills that will empower them to be a strong and independent new generation of Kenyan women.

Stage 1: Purchase Land Mothers Fighting For Others

The first step in making Inspire The Child a reality is the purchase of land. We are traveling to Kenya in April. The goal is to secure a parcel of land large enough to create a self-sustaining complex, including space for livestock, a farm and green energy sources.

Stage 2: Build A Home Mothers Fighting For Others

We are not just constructing an orphanage for young Kenyan girls. We are building a home in the very purest sense of the word. We are creating a new family environment, one filled with love, hope and self discipline.


Stage 3: Build a School Mothers Fighting For Others

Educating young women will have a positive multigenerational impact on Kenya's future. Inspire the Child will create a school curriculum that will meet and exceed the educational requirements outlined in Kenyan law, but will also equip each girl with the life skills necessary to become strong, independent Kenyan women.



Our Mission Is Simple Everyday, children are orphaned into extreme poverty. They are left to fend for themselves, without safe food or clean water and with no hope for a quality education. Mothers Fighting For Others is dedicated to providing these children with the basic necessities that we provide for our own children. We will give them a roof over their heads, safe food and clean water, and a chance to learn, to grow and to thrive. We are Mothers Fighting For Others.
