Whuz happnin' ya'll? Long time no blog, I apologize. Myspace isn't exactly my major field of expertise, but I'm going to be trying to amend that over the next few months. I'm getting a brand new 1200 watt PA system this week and I'm really excited to start doing some acoustic gigs with it. The system is small enough that I can set it up myself, yet powerful enough to blow the fleas off a dog from 500 yards (or at least fill any reasonably-sized venue with plenty of sound). Can't wait to try it out, I think it should be in by Wednesday.

Sonically, I've been up to much. In addition to rocking out with Reno Subject (catch us at the Draught Horse in Philly this friday!) I've been jamming with my roommates (Todd and Alex from The New Connection) on a ton of Beatles stuff for a 3-hour Beatles tribute night @ Doc Watson's Pub sometime in the relatively near future, keep an eye out for updates on that. I've also been doing some writing, including two new songs tentatively titled "Will You Be There?" and "A Civil Dismissal." Expect to hear both at any upcoming solo/Reno gigs. Last but not least, I've been doing some recording, working on demos of some of my favorite cover songs to cut up and piece together into a EPK, or electronic press kit. When finished, it will kind of resemble the cliff note version of one of my performances, complete with some info about myself and how to contact me.
