Hey everyone,

We wanted to let you all know that we are ending our wonderful experience of being a wizard rock band. It has been such an incredible and surreal two years for us, starting as a group of friends with incredibly limited musical experience sitting around a living room, shaking cans of beans and writing a song together, to performing onstage for large and enthusiastic audiences.

I dont think any of us had any idea when we agreed to play around with the idea of writing songs about Harry Potter how much we would learn from this whole thing, or how much fun we would have, or how important it would become to us. We are not quiting our involvement with wizard rock, we were fans before we were a band and we will continue to be fans, but as a band, the time has come for us to be finished. We are going to continue to keep our myspace up for awhile, but we wont be answering messages, recording any new songs, or playing any shows.

We have to take the time to thank all of you who have made this entire experience and movement so special. It would be impossible to thank everyone and I'm not even going to try to name names, but we definitely want to thank those of you that supported us so wholeheartedly from the very beginning and always encouraged us especially when we didnt deserve it! When we'd hear that people were actually listening to the stuff we wrote and recorded, well it always amazed us!

To the other bands- simply put- we love you guys. Thanks for letting us into your lives and for your friendship. We consider ourselves lucky to have shared all of this with all of you.

To all of you that we had a chance to meet and hang out with and become friends with- thank you thank you thank you, truly it is thanks to you guys that we loved this so much and that we continued to do it for so long.

Lets see what else... Oh we will not be playing Wrock Chicago. We had planned for that to be our last show but for some strange reason my job seems to think that responsible teachers should report for work and training instead of traveling to Chicago to sing songs about Harry Potter. Weird huh? We are very sad that we will not be at Terminus with all of you, but we're certain the wonderful Wrock Chicago people lined up an amazing replacement.

Well I think thats probably all we have to say. I would love to go on and on about the wonderful times we've had and the memories we will take from all of this, but yeah, this is long enough as it is. Just please know that the experiences we shared with all of you and our time as a band are incredibly special to us.
and I'd like to apologize for this being fairly unstructured and for my poor grammar
etc, I had to just write what I was thinking or I would never have finished this blog!
