Who Gives Kudos:

Thursday, July 17, 2008
Hi everyone! Sorry I've been a lil AWOL on here... Been traveling a lot writing in LA (where I saw Jon Brion with Fiona Apple, Chris Thile and the Watkins, and Aimee Mann live... awesome.), Nashville (where I ran into Keith Urban... he said "Hey Mates!" and walked to his black Bentley) and NYC (, arguing with Todd's GPS and working with some great writers and artists I'll have to tell ya about in another blog.
For now, I wanted to give you an update on the EP. There's some cool stuff happening that's kinda delayed the release a bit including a national commercial for West Virginia University featuring my song "The Start of Something" when WVU football plays on ABC and ESPN!

I'm really anxious for everyone to hear the new music so please stay tuned and spread the word to friends, because very shortly there will be new music, pics and web design available!

PS - You on Facebook? I yam too...

PSS - What've you been listening to? I've been loving the new Coldplay and the new Imogen Heap single. Sam Sparro is really cool and the Tings Tings are kinda fun...

-What've you been listening to?-

I agree with you on Coldplay. I'm liking the new album a lot.

Phantom Planet's newest, Raise the Dead, is pretty fantastic.

No problem. I'm finding it hard to stop listening to it.

The whole cult thing is genius. Or possibly psychotic...

PS - New music is great.
Can't wait to hear yours!

Did You Forget About Me?

If I was a cheerleader Id be doing some jumps for ya, lol. Congrats on all especially writing while your traveling keeping that brain fresh. Pretty soon you'll be rolling in style on those tour buses and wont have to ever worry about loosing anything again. ha again.

Been listening to and finding some great artists right here on Myspace...and itunes...all the shit on the radio is really starting to bother me...where's the true talent now a days. Garrett McArthur is one talented kid with Needmore. They've put up a few more songs and man I think I may finally enjoy a whole EP again..the lyrics are good, Johnathan Clay, Renee Cassar, Sing it Loud pretty good, Boyce Avenue, Phonochrome, The Fold. Need to find more though, think i need a change, change is good, but I will still listen to you, LOL. my brother got in a band, they just finished recording an EP heavy though Siege A.D. not really my thing but I guess after hearing the one song over and over with my husband working on a video for them it grew on me. I am in constant need of inspiring music, oh another kid with no training seems like he'll do well Jason Daniel. Any sugg. on gotta here music LET ME KNOW.

Take care,
SMILE :),

That's awesome news about the commercial!!!!

Lately I've been listening to a band called The Push Stars, who I actually recommend checking out, also their lead singer, Chris Trapper, has some amazing music out.

ahh... can't wait for a Scott EP... and sweetness about the commercial- though, I think the world will end because now I'm looking forward to football season... you know that never happens!

so, uh... got to see Fiona, eh?... did she sing to you (subliminally)? hahaha :-)

PS - I'm trying to figure out how you threw a "y" into "I am too"...

PSS - Scott rocks.

I somehow ended up with "Black and Gold" on my iPod. Not sure how it happened, but I am keeping it. I like it and the title makes me think of my beloved Steelers.

Keep rockin, Scott! I am proud
