I think I have it. I am starting to sympathize with my captor.
It all happened today when I started to think about what my first non-vegan meal will be. The problem was, I couldn't come up with anything. Obviously I can't have a huge steak right off the bat as it could make me sick, but even the prosciutto that's been taunting me in the fridge all these weeks doesn't seem that interesting. I mean, it sounds delicious, but I'm really liking the idea of eating "healthier" and actually found myself telling me I don't NEED to eat it.
This happened to me once before. I really cracked down on my eating habits and snacking, and after a month of it, I just stopped wanting to eat large portions and greasy stuff. Then, the holidays hit, and after a month of too many delicious meals, my stomach had reexpanded and I lost the discipline I had established. Ahh, the holidays.
Okay, so for the record, there's this place on Melrose near La Brea called "Busaba" which is a Thai Vegan place. It is out of this world phenomenal. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had, vegan or not. Wow, I must be hungry because that tangent really came out of no where. Let's get back on point.
So that said, what should I have for my first meal? I'm thinking sushi. It's small portions and honestly the thing I miss the most. But I feel that is somewhat of a cop out because in a way, it's still a vegetarian meal. I mean, there's not too much red meat in sushi. But a big juicy steak/hamburger just isn't getting my blood flowing right now. Stupid Scandanavians and their stupid syndrome. Will someone please help snap me out of this?
Also, suggestions for a first non-vegan meal are gladly welcomed.
P.S. I now weigh 226.0 lbs. So now I have a net loss of 3.5 lbs. Guh. Stupid beer.
