How strange it seems that I should want,
to take comfort and rest,
from love itself,
I'd rather drown and die than take that rest,
How odd to feel the need for peace,
when all is peace you give,
and brush a rose against my breast,
Oh I choose to breathe and live,
and to feel that fire, my belly glows,
and my palate rich to taste -
your love,
Why not? My very spirit grows,
so love me do, for I will not wait...:)
