Introduction to Cubase: Music Production - Midi and Audio
You will learn how to use Cubase for song writing using midi including vst instruments, synthesizers, sound modules, vst effects for mixing and mastering and Rewire to connect between two programs. You'll also learn how to use Cubase for arranging and mixing.
You will find out about copyrighting for sampling; learning how to create, edit, and format samples / loops from audio files and using Cubase to record, edit, arrange and mix audio. The course will also cover recording equipment and methods of sound recording.

A course for local musicians, vocalists, MCs and DJs interested in gaining actual experience of performing live on stage, this is an introduction to playing live, with hands-on workshops on PA, monitoring equipment, and the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare for performing on a stage. This groundbreaking course is aimed at providing the participants with the invaluable experience of actually being on stage and also working with other artists of various styles. The course is split into two five-week parts, culminating in a live performance at a venue open to the public.
(This course does not teach you how to play your guitar or be competent in any other chosen musical field applicants should be ready to perform in front of an audience!)
