"she walks, she talks, she crawls on her belly like a reptile"
yes, i'll be the first to admit it... the trip to jacksonville did not go to plan.
definitely didn't think i'd be "that girl" ... you know the one... drinks all day... screwdrivers for breakfast... beers for lunch.... vo and sprite for dinner... and shots as far as the eye can see.
definitely haven't partied like that for a while.... course it did lead to making friends with some locals which i thought was pretty cool... being that the number 1 rule of travel is "don't burn the locals" ... i figured once i had a few drinks and a few locals on my side, it couldn't turn out too bad, eh?
lets just say at one point i even told my sister while were at this club "i don't think i need to be here anymore".... course i don't remember that part... or any of the other deeds that happened after that. the only memories i'll really retain are the bruises, the dry cleaning bill, and of course, the 20 years of people retelling this story.... apparently what happens in jacksonville does not stay in jacksonville.
and my beloved bulldawgs lost the big game. it was tough going in with joe t. III anyways... and if you thought it sucked on the television or on the highlight reel... it compares nothing to what actually happened there. i still really don't even want to talk about it but i knew i couldn't "blog" without mentioning it a little bit.
now that i'm all fired up about it again, i should probably go.
hope you guys are well.
peace
