Current mood:  artistic
Here is a letter I recently wrote to the HastyTasty Noodle people, telling them about the great strides I've made with their noodles.

Dear Sirs,

I wanted to write you to let you know that I am a longtime customer of your HastyTasty Lasagne noodles and have probably developed more uses for them than you ever imagined!

For many years, I used them according to the directions you provide on the side of the box. Recently, though, I decided to move into my pantry, and I discovered that your noodles are much more versatile than you let on.

I made a bed out of lasagne noodles. That was the beginning of my adventure in lasagneland. I will tell you that the bed was as comfortable as a Sealy Posturepedic mattress, but I had trouble finding any kind fitted or top sheet that would rest comfortably on the noodles. Following that, I began to think much more creatively about the possibilities your wonderful noodles could provide me. I guess some of the things I created aren't that exciting: Picture frames, bookends, and protective side-panels for my recliner. But once I got going, there was no looking back! I built a miniskirt out of lasagne noodles and your spaghetti, and I made a transistor radio! Someone told me that I should try to make something called an IPod. I'm not sure what that is, but if I do make it, I'll call it the IPasta.

Well, I guess I should get to the real point. I am obviously your biggest fan, and I think that maybe we should work together. I could be your noodle lady, and you could feature me in advertisements... maybe during soap operas. I'd love to invite you to my pantry, let you have a look around, and see what you think about what I've done. Maybe,  you don't need a spokesperson since the HastyTasty NoodleNose is already such a recognized personality. Maybe you would just be interested in publishing a how-to pamphlet featuring some of my creations. Whatever you would like to do, I'd be interested in doing with you.

Your devoted fan,
Mrs. Harley

I got a letter back from them a two weeks later.

Dear Mrs. Harley,

We at HastyTasty are always happy to hear from our customers, and we are very pleased to hear that you enjoy our products. Please accept the enclosed coupon good for one HastyTasty pasta product.

Thank you.

I'm really looking forward to continuing discussing my ideas with the HastyTasty company!
