You are so freakin' awesome and brilliant. There is absolutely no one else in the adult industry with as much crossover clout as you. And part of that is because you're a classy broad and you don't look like a porn star, which of course makes you that much more hot and sexy.
Yay Sasha!

Mishima! Great film Sasha. If you like that check out Paul Schrader's 'Blue Collar', it contains my favourite dramatic Richard Pryor performance not to mention a young Harvey Keitel. Happy watching.

Be good.

Looks like we've come a long way... To see that you can model for Manoukian in France these days is something! One reason why I left France a while back was the general narrow-minded and constantly judgemental attitude of my peers that I couldn't stand anymore. Maybe they're finally becoming less square (or they have no clue what your day job is). Anyway, nice one.

Hi SG,

Very nice selections for your DJ gig. Black Flag, very inspirational to my punk rockin' youth.... and RIP the late great crazy diamond Syd. A brilliant and inevitably sad, lonely river of words and melodies. "Won't you miss me.....?" Yes Syd, I always have.....

You were great, Sasha. I hope we get to hear your voice, and music playlists on a regular basis. It was a real treat hearing the Nico song, Peter Hook's bass, and Swan Lake by PIL. You're even more beautiful on the inside.
That caller that didn't recognize/know the Legendary Pink Dots sound, well, shame on him, but he was schooled today by SG, and that's a good thing :)

I just Just Saw The Girlfriend Experience, and I need to to vent, so please bear with.
Let me start by saying that the film reminds me of Velasquez's Rockeby Venus - a naked venus from the back, staring at the viewer in a mirror held by Cupid. but that's just my opinion.
to me film is a pivotal point in "the Sasha Grey Experience", which i hope to revisit (in "The Death of the Author" post-structuralist point of view) and understand the multiple layers and meanings of the film . to make things clearer, hare's a quote of Glenn Kenny's article (a must for any one who wants to experience "the Experience"):
"Grey’s focused, understated performance as an individual who has commodified herself to the extent that even she doesn’t know the “real” her anymore carries the picture. Is her character a cipher, or a genuine enigma?... everything Grey does is part of the same ball of wax—the creation of (if you will) an artistic persona.

To sum up all this pointless dribble, here's my review of the film, in the top 5 fashion:

most Lovable characters (not including Chelsea):
5. Graphic designer - for those working after hours
4. The Accountant - Everybody needs one
3. Chris - sweet guy Most of the time
2. Interviewer - The chorus
1. Jewelry Store Owner - I can relate

Least Lovable characters:
5. David - borderline least lovable
4. Chris's Bar Friend - Everybody's got one of those
3. Tara - I know the type
2. Bottle Service Guy - Blah
1. The Erotic Connoisseur -  An unforgettable performance by Glenn Kenny

Top 5 circumstance factors:
5. Historical - Wouldn't be possible without the internet
4. Geographical - A New York escort girl has to have at least one little black Dress
3. Financial - Low budget is more than enough
2. Wether - New york is amazing in autumn
1. Recession - zeitgeist indeed!

Top 5 scenes:
5. "cheer my girl up", at the bar - The Glitter of a relationship (tie)
5. Sponge Bath - A graceful pleasure (tie)
4. "What's on the menu"  - Disturbing
3. "How is your day treating you?" - A moment of clearness
2. Iron Door - Reflective
1. Jewelry store make out - A moment of comfort

Top 5 memorable quotes:
5. "The state of israel must continue"
4. "If i hear one more thing about this debate, I'm gonna throw up"
3. "it  sounds like it's a white slavery ring.... But not."
2. "To dazzle the light of Forest F@%&ing Gump"
1. "Nobody does what you do! ... you are the best!"

Top 5 questions left unanswered:
5. What would be The Erotic Connoisseur's positive review be?
4. Will there be a sequel?
3. Who is Chelsea's favorite client? (Jewelry Store Owner - hans down)
2. Is Chelsea's iron door only the threshold of SG's Iron door, or are they the same?
1. Who are you, Sasha Grey?

Conclusion:
Sasha Grey sensuous wares/skills - 5 stars out of 5 (But I'm Jaded)

Good Luck SG,
Can't wait for the next step.
