From June 10th to August 19th you can join a summer reading program && get kool prizes!

FOR RISING 6th TO 12th GRADERS.

how it works....
*any teen (rising 6th-12th graders) anywhere can take part in the summer reasing program through the web.  but to win prizes, you must be residents of Mecklenburg County or hold a valid non-resident PLCMC library card.

*All participants must register online at www.libraryloft.org . If you don't have a computer at home, you coan come to any library to log on.  anyone who registers can print out a coupon good for up to $10 in fines on your library card!

*READ! Track hours you read on your Online Reading Record. You can read for any length of time, but only mark one box for each total hour you read.

*As you reach each level, you can print out a voucher to take to the library for your prize.  All participants who complete the programwill be entered in a drawing to win a $20 gift card to a local retailer.

*Each library program you attend counts for one hour of reading, so visit www.libraryloft.org for a list of summer prgrams.

*Teen summer reading only takes place from June 10th-August 19th, 2006.  Reading records connot be edited after that time.

YOU CAN READ ANYTHING AS LONG AS YOU READ!

Prizes:

10 Hours-  Mood pencil and a coupon for a free Wendy's jr. Bacon Cheesburger.

20 Hours-  "READ!" bracelet and coupon for 3 free DVD rentals.

30 Hours-  Crazy 8 carabiner key chain and be entered in the final drawing ($20 gift card).
