++ Last week saw the 25th anniversary of the arrival of Scream! comic on newsagent's shelves, and it was in that publication that I made my first appearance.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, British comic news site Down The Tubes published an interview with Barrie Tomlinson, the man responsible for overseeing Scream's publication. You can read that by clicking HERE.

Incidentally, if you're in the UK there are two publications that may be of interest to some of you which go on sale today. The first is a 52 page Roy of The Rovers special available exclusively from WH Smiths for the price of £3.99. The second is a new issue of kids' magazine Toxic, which contains a sixteen page comic supplement, in which a number of the stories have a rather supernatural flavour. In fact one of them, WereWilf is an updated version of a character who originally appeared in Whoopee! comic in the seventies. More info on that can be found HERE.
