I'm sure you've heard at least one of the Gershwin Brothers famous hits! One of my favorite's is "Someone to watch over me," and luckily I was able to sit right next to Alexis Gershwin last night, (niece of George and Ira Gershwin) as she sang an amazing rendition of the unforgettable hit... Alexis is a doll! She invited me to her live radio performance on Joey Reynolds show on WOR Radio... It was such an honor to sit next to Ms. Gershwin as she sang her heart out... It was inspiring and Alexis is such an organic and radiant person. It was a great experience, because I remember singing the Gershwin's music in my school with the womens choir. It was a night to remember!
