Thanks to everybody who played, cheered and read at the late night venue at the Beverley Folk Festival. We had some great sets by Billy Bragg, Cole Porters, Tanglefoot, Curtis Eller and Reg Meuros, as well as John Hegley and Rory Motion. It was a great atmosphere there and lots of people came each night to see what was happening. I must say I am really proud of our little tent - it's come on a long way since 2007 when we launched it with, and is now a really great venue with quality acts all the way. My thanks to Pete Rolinson and Larry Knee and all the guys at Beverley Arts Trust for making it happen. Tonight I am really tired but feel grateful to be involved in such a great venture. Onwards !
Tonight I am in Crewe visiting my old friend Kev Watson and shooting the breze. Tomorrow I am storytelling at a school in Tushingam.
cheers for now...
