Letting go isn't blocking memories or thinking sad thoughts,
And doesn't leave emptiness, hurt or sadness.
It's not giving up or giving in.
Letting go isn't about loss, and it's not defeat.

To let go is to cherish memories, but to overcome and move on.
it is having an open mind and confidence in the future.
Letting go is accepting,
It is learning and experiencing and growing.
To let go is to be thankful for the experiences that made
  you laugh, made you cry and made you grow.
It's about all that you have, all that you had and all that you
  will soon again...

  By reading this it made me think about a lot of stuff that has been on my mind lately and everything that was said is completely true....you shouldn't dwell on the past and be upset....be thankful for what was given to you then and accept things that are happening now....cherish the memories. That is what I am now going to do...I am now going to completely set myself free...someday I know I will be happy and be with who  I am supposed to be with....

that shit is soo 100% true but it makes me miss bud a whole lot more... its hard to let go...and lemme tell ya what...it aint fun either
