Hurrah, this is the first time I've seen this video in the states. When the song came out, I was in Germany and I saw it there all the time on the music tv station!

I love this song!

This is one of David Roberts' a.k.a. Dilbert's FAVORITE songs!  It will be played at his memorial service today in Las Vegas, NV, and by the over 200 people who knew him and called him friend!  THIS TUNE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Direct literal translation means "Love for linden tree"  more likely translation taken from Romanian slang is "Love at first site."  Tei is apparently a neighborhood in Bucharest basically a college town.  Love at first site is more universally understood than love for linden tree... 

Dragostea = Love

Din = For

Tei = Linden Tree

Finally!!

Like Amanda, I saw this video on when I was in Germany and got hooked - absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I could only find the music when I returned to the U.S. but not the video. Now there are many stupid homemade American videos (even here on MySpace) using your music and thinking the song is called "Numa Numa".

I try to explain to my friends that it is not called "Numa Numa", yet I can't pronounce the name of the song either. Why? Oh, because I don't speak or understand Romanian. Could you post the lyrics with English translation too?
